These Terms and Conditions apply to all sewing lessons, workshops, and training programmes (“sessions”) provided by Momso Sustainable CIC, registered in England & Wales.
By booking or attending any of our sessions, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Bookings
- All lessons must be pre-booked in advance via our website, email, or phone.
- Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Payment is due in person on arrival (cash or card accepted).
- A confirmation message will be sent upon booking; please contact us if you do not receive one.
2. Payments
- Full payment is required at the start of the session.
- We accept major debit/credit cards and cash.
- For group bookings or traineeships, a payment plan or deposit structure may apply. Details will be provided at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
We understand that life happens. However, as a small, community-focused organisation with limited spaces, we kindly ask you to respect the following:
Cancellations by You:
- Cancellations made with more than 48 hours’ notice: no fee will be charged.
- Cancellations within 24–48 hours: 50% of the fee will be charged or held as credit.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows: full payment will be required.
Cancellations by Us:
- In rare cases, we may need to cancel or reschedule a session due to staff illness, emergencies, or minimum participant requirements.
- If this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative date or full credit/refund.
4. Lateness
- Please arrive on time. Sessions will begin promptly at the scheduled time.
- If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate you, and the session may be considered a no-show (see cancellation policy).
- We cannot extend sessions due to late arrival.
5. Age & Accessibility
- Unless otherwise stated, lessons are designed for adults aged 18+.
- Some sessions may be open to younger participants with prior agreement.
- If you have access needs or require additional support, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate you.
6. What’s Included
- All sewing machines, tools, and studio equipment are provided.
- Materials may or may not be included depending on the session type—this will be made clear at the time of booking.
- You are welcome to bring your own fabric or project.
7. Studio Conduct
We strive to maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for all. By attending a session, you agree to:
- Treat staff, fellow learners, and the space with respect
- Follow health & safety instructions
- Avoid bringing disruptive or inappropriate behaviour into the studio
We reserve the right to remove participants from a session or future bookings if behaviour is inappropriate or unsafe.
8. Liability & Personal Property
- Momso Sustainable CIC accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal property.
- While we take care to ensure a safe environment, participation is at your own risk. Please take care when using sewing equipment.
- If you are unsure how to use a tool or machine, always ask for help.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, course materials, and teaching techniques shared during our sessions remain the property of Momso Sustainable CIC and may not be reproduced or shared without permission.
10. Feedback & Complaints
We welcome your feedback to help us improve.

11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally to reflect operational or legal changes. The most current version will always be posted on our website.
